Privacy

The FairVenue landing page is a product preview and waitlist. We collect an email address when you join with consent, along with sanitized optional UTM source, medium, campaign and content labels, a normalized source category and a consent version. We do not collect wallet data or deposits. The separate Arena simulator stores virtual trading activity as described below, never orders routed to an external venue.

Optional product research

After a successful join, you may skip or answer a short optional fixed-choice survey. The general track covers role, priorities and a broad monthly trading-volume range. The Arena track covers your strategy setup, connection choice and whether you could connect it to a simulator. Anonymous answers remain together only in this protected local research dataset for up to 365 days. They are never connected to browsing metrics or your waitlist email. If you separately check the research consent box, we may link those answers to your encrypted waitlist record and contact you for product research. We do not ask for individual trades, positions, wallet addresses, strategy code or free-text trading data.

How the waitlist is stored

Email addresses are encrypted on the server with AES-256-GCM before being written to local SQLite. A keyed HMAC prevents duplicate entries. The database is not public and there is no public or admin list endpoint.

Arena testnet profiles

You may request a profile for a simulated Arena testnet. The profile stores a random public account reference and a reference to your encrypted waitlist record. A short-lived, one-time access grant connects the two steps without sending your email to the profile endpoint. Only a keyed grant hash is stored. The profile does not store another plaintext email, and it is not connected to browsing metrics or anonymous research feedback. The website does not issue a password, API key, wallet credential, deposit address or live-execution credential. Optional Arena research can be skipped without changing the profile that is created.

Arena Google sign-in and simulated trading

Arena runs separately at app.fairvenue.xyz. Google verifies your sign-in and sends a short-lived identity credential to Arena. We retain the verified Google subject identifier to reconnect you to the same account, not Google access or refresh tokens. We also keep your Google-verified email encrypted for account identification until account deletion. This does not subscribe you to marketing or authorize research contact. Your email is not sent to X or included in analytics. Sessions use hashed opaque tokens. Agent public keys and virtual orders, fills, balances and positions are retained for account continuity and audit. Private agent keys stay on your device. This data is not joined to waitlist email, anonymous research or browsing metrics. Google sign-in uses Google's own service and privacy policy. For account deletion requests, contact privacy@fairvenue.xyz from an account you can verify. Protected backups may retain deleted data until their rotation.

Local product metrics

The site stores aggregate daily counts for page views, calculator use, generated months, copied setup links and waitlist submissions, grouped only by safe source categories: Reddit, Discord, Product Hunt, X, Google, direct or other. First-touch attribution lasts only for the current browser session and prefers UTM source, then a normalized referrer domain, then direct. We never store a full referrer URL. A daily HMAC derived from IP address and User-Agent estimates unique visitors. Raw IP addresses and User-Agent strings are never stored or logged. The daily hash cannot be linked across days and is deleted after 35 days. These local metrics use no advertising identifier or external analytics service and have no public reporting endpoint. Optional X measurement is separate, as described below.

Arena setup counters

For signed-in Arena accounts, we count successful Agent skill copies and API-key download starts per account and UTC day. These private setup counters help us understand adoption. They contain no prompt text, keys, email, IP address, browser details or research answers, and are not joined with browsing metrics. A download start does not confirm that a file was saved. Counters expire after 365 days and are removed with the account.

Arena campaign attribution

At Google sign-in, we associate the first observed source category and shared campaign, medium and creative labels with your Arena account. Labels are carried between our site and Arena using URL parameters and temporary session storage, without an advertising click ID or persistent browser identifier. We count successful Google sign-ins per account and UTC day. Private local reports can relate this acquisition information to your setup counters and existing simulated orders and fills, so we can understand which campaigns lead to active accounts. We do not join browsing history or research responses to these reports or store a full referrer URL. These records are not sent to advertising platforms.

Campaign labels and sign-in counters expire after 365 days and are removed with your account. After expiry, only a marker with no campaign content remains to prevent later advertising from being credited for the same acquisition. Existing accounts are marked as first observed rather than attributed retroactively to a new registration. Restoring an existing session does not count as a new Google sign-in.

Optional advertising measurement

Advertising measurement is off by default. If you enable it at sign-in or in Arena, a new Google registration or successful Agent skill copy can load the X Pixel to measure our ads and build audiences for FairVenue advertising on X. Returning login and enabling the preference alone do not load the pixel. You can use every feature without agreeing. This choice is separate from research and email consent.

We supply only a random conversion identifier and, when present, the X click identifier from your current link. The gateway may carry that click identifier in its link to Arena, but we do not store it in our databases, metrics or session storage. X may also process cookies, IP address and browser information through its pixel. We do not supply email, Arena account references, prompt text, API keys, trading activity or research answers. X processes this data under its privacy policy, including processing outside your country. The pixel runs separately from the trading interface and cannot access its browser storage or private keys.

Your browser remembers the preference and a random deduplication identifier for up to 180 days, not an account-linked browsing history. Change the preference using the Cookies link next to Privacy on the sign-in screen or in the Arena footer. Rejecting stops future reporting and removes an active measurement frame. It cannot retract events already sent or delete cookies controlled by X. Browser privacy settings can clear those cookies. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable our optional reporting even if previously enabled. Blocking or declining measurement never prevents copying, signing in or simulated trading.

The preference cookie is shared between fairvenue.xyz and app.fairvenue.xyz, so the gateway and terminal remember the same choice. It contains only your choice and its expiry, not a user identifier. Conversion deduplication stays in the Arena browser storage. Google authentication runs in an isolated app-domain frame inside the sign-in page. Credentials do not pass through the marketing page. A one-time browser receipt, expiring after one minute, carries only the completed-login and optional signup-reporting state to the terminal, not your email or account ID.

Optional research inside Arena

The separate simulated terminal can offer the same three Arena questions after sign-in. Answers are anonymous by default and kept in a separate research table for up to 365 days. A separate, unchecked choice lets you link them to your signed-in Arena account for product research. This stores an account reference and consent record, not your email or browsing history. Unchecking removes that link. Deleting the account removes its linked answers. All answers and links expire after 365 days. A temporary editing token allows a response to be updated during the browser session. Only its hash is stored on the server. Account progress separately remembers whether setup was finished, without storing answers or a research response reference. The terminal does not infer research contact consent from signing in or linking answers. The email waitlist survey retains its separate opt-in.

Use and retention

We use the address only for FairVenue product updates and future access information. No confirmation email is sent today. Contact privacy@fairvenue.xyz to request deletion from the waitlist. Deleting a waitlist record also deletes any separately consented research feedback linked to it.
